As Co-Author of Careers Decode Blueprint, I had the privilege of meeting Shri Subhash Chandra Garg, former Finance Secretary to the Government of India and former Executive Director at the World Bank, and personally presenting our book to him.
With decades of distinguished experience spanning public policy, economic governance, administration, and global institutions, his journey represents a remarkable intersection of leadership, knowledge, and public service. For me, meeting and interacting with a personality of such experience was both an honour and an opportunity to learn.
Our conversation touched upon careers, education, entrepreneurship, the changing landscape of opportunities for India’s youth, governance, and preparing the next generation for an increasingly dynamic world. His perspectives brought the kind of clarity that can only emerge from years of experience across national and international institutions.
The interaction held particular significance for me as an educator and co-author. Having spent more than 14 years in education, I have witnessed closely the aspirations, uncertainties, and potential of young people. Careers Decode Blueprint emerged from that larger belief that the next generation deserves greater awareness, exposure, and direction while making decisions that can shape their lives.
Presenting the book in such an intellectually enriching environment therefore represented much more than sharing a publication. It was an opportunity to connect the ideas behind the book with a larger conversation about education, opportunity, leadership, and India’s evolving future.
My own journey — across education, entrepreneurship, authorship, life coaching, and competitive sport — has continually reinforced one lesson: meaningful growth often begins when we remain open to learning from people whose experiences expand the way we see the world.
Interactions like these strengthen my commitment to continue guiding journeys, encouraging possibilities, and contributing to conversations that can help build better futures for the next generation.
